We went out Whitetail deer hunting in AZ unit 34a for three days and saw a few good deer, but no antlered deer which is what our tags allowed.

We
went out a day on the grasslands to see
what we could find out there on the first
day. Seeing no deer here at all we headed
up in elevatyion and further south out of
town.
Hunting for deer on the south end of Tucson
in October
We
took alead from a friend and went
to a spot near Madera Canyon past
the south end of Tucson, about 40
miles out of town.
This
area was much more steep and about
2000 feet higher in elevation. Trees
created dence cover in the bottom
of the canyons while open grassy hills
allowed for the oppertunity to see
and track the whitetails.
